CANON IN D MINOR 24x36x1.5'' layers muted gray, lavender, and slate tones with fragments of turquoise, rust, cream, and black. Broad, angular strokes cross the surface, interrupting the vertical bands and block-like forms. Scraped marks and thick paint give the composition a worn, tactile quality, with each layer revealing traces of what came before.
